Admission to any conference is at the discretion of the Director and Trustees. In the event of any behaviour deemed
detrimental to the conference, a participant may be required to leave, or barred from attending future conferences, or both, at the
discretion of the Trustees.
In the event that the summer conference is cancelled by the organizers by 15 April, or the Winter School by 15 December, participants’ registration fees will be refunded. If, due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, the conference is cancelled after that date disbursements on nonrefundable items will make full refunds unlikely, but the Foundation will make full or partial refunds whenever possible.
It cannot be guaranteed that refunds of registration fees or accommodation costs will be made to participants who cancel their registration after the deadline for settlement of accommodation charges since the Foundation itself may forfeit all or most of its deposits or prepayments, though the Foundation will refund as much as possible.
Refunds are unlikely if a cancellation is received less than seven days before the conference starts, and no refund on fees or accommodation charges can be made to a participant who cancels a booking after the conference has started. Travel insurance is therefore advised.
Refunds, if any, will be made by Paypal or by sterlng cheque with costs borne by the recipient.
Please note that no crèche is available: parents are responsible for supervision of children under 16 at all times. There
is no charge for children under 5. Older children (5 to 15) may stay at reduced rates (50% off under twelve, 25% off twelve to seventeen) if sharing a family room with their parents. Children over 5 will also be charged the non-participant fee. Please note, however, that child seats are a legal requirement on excursion transport and must be provided by parents.
