We are delighted also to offer 1 Marilyn Gaull Bursary of $500, generously sponsored by the Wordsworth-Coleridge Association of America. This bursary is restricted to graduate students, post-doctoral scholars, and early career university faculty members.

These bursaries are intended to enable young scholars to enjoy a full  ten active and stimulating days in the unique environment of Rydal and Grasmere, for about half the cost of the event at about £750.  Please bring this announcement to the attention of qualifying applicants.

Registration for bursary holders will be £200, with the balance of the award to go towards accommodation costs.

Holders of bursaries will be so designated on the list of participants or the conference programme. The bursary will be applied in the first instance to conference fees, and the balance to accommodation in shared rooms in  Rydal Hall.

All accommodation for bursary holders will be in shared twin rooms in Rydal Hall. Bursary awards also entail a requirement to attend all academic events on the programme. By applying for a bursary you indicate your acceptance of these requirements.
